How is WPM calculated in this typing test?
WPM (Words Per Minute) is calculated using the standard 5-keystroke formula: Net WPM = (Total keystrokes typed − errors) ÷ 5 ÷ minutes elapsed. This is the same formula used by SSC and other government exam scoring systems.
What speed is required for SSC CHSL English typing?
SSC CHSL requires a minimum typing speed of 35 WPM for English (Lower Division Clerk posts) with a minimum accuracy. The test duration is 10 minutes on a computer.
